Courtney joined Res Publica Group from Loyola Medicine, where she oversaw media relations, internal communications, crisis communications and video production for the regional health system. Courtney delivered high-quality media placements, managed communications for a hospital acquisition, promoted leading-edge treatments and championed world-renowned physicians through print campaigns and video storytelling. Prior to Loyola, Courtney served as Cook County Clerk David Orr’s communications director and a key member of his leadership team, helping to drive legislative efforts and efficiency initiatives. Courtney began her career as an award-winning reporter for the Daily Southtown and the Iowa City Press-Citizen. Courtney earned a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She lives in Riverside with her husband and son. She serves as the secretary of the Riverside Public Library Board of Trustees.
